Brand Guidelines / Policies
AI Brand Policy
Armada builds with AI every day. These guidelines define where AI helps us move faster and where it undermines the brand.
What AI is for
Internal documents
Claude and other AI tools are encouraged for drafting, editing, summarizing, and producing internal documents — slide decks, reports, memos, emails, working documents. Use them.
Copy and content
AI is a strong tool for writing and refining copy. Use it to draft, sharpen, and pressure-test language across any internal or external context, then apply the voice guidelines to align the output with the Armada tone.
What AI is not for
Logo and galleons
Do not use AI to generate, recreate, or modify the Armada logo or galleon imagery. Generative AI distorts the precise geometry these marks depend on. Always use approved files from the asset library. Contact the Growth Team for new formats.
Branded imagery
Do not use AI to generate imagery for branded materials. This applies to presentations, marketing assets, and any external-facing content.
Standards
Review everything you publish
AI makes it easy to generate a lot of content instantly. That ease creates a responsibility. If you put something public-facing into the world, you reviewed it — you own it. There is no "the AI wrote it" as a defense.
Don't flood the channel
Volume is not the goal. Generating more content does not mean publishing more content. We have a responsibility not to overwhelm our customers. Every piece we send should earn its place.
Be brief
AI output tends toward exhaustive. Our standard is the opposite — brief, purposeful, human-readable. If AI drafts it, your job is to cut it down, not publish it whole.
